Kelly I
(Canine Reproduction Manager/Senior Veterinary
Nurse)

Hi, I’m Kelly, I am a qualified Senior Vet
Nurse at Manly Road and Manager of the Reproduction Unit. I
am the Personnal Assistant to Dr. Christine Kidd (Principal and
Reproduction Veterinarian). I have 11 years nursing experience with
9 of those years specializing in Canine Reproduction (under Dr.
Kidds’ wing) . I love the “reproduction field”, as there is nothing
more rewarding than delivering puppies into the world. Most
of my day is spent dealing with Frozen canine semen –
importing/exporting throughout the world, transporting around
Australia, assisting with inseminations, assisting/doing pregnancy
ultrasounds, whelping numerous litters of pups and most importantly
taking care of Dr. Kidd’s patients. My menagerie of animals
include: tropical fish, Gindy my 6yr old greyhound that hogs my
lounge with Thalia my lazy cat and Gindy's 9 pups which are nearly
ready to become big race dogs.

Colleen
(Senior Equine Nurse)

Hello!! My name is Colleen.
I work at Manly Road as an Equine Vet Nurse. I have
worked at Manly Road for two and a half years. As well as
working here I also still work in a thoroughbred racing stable on
the weekends, where I strap horses at the races or look after the
rest of the team at home. I also have two horses of my own.
Pretty Girl is a pinto mare who is now retired, Byron is an
11 year old thoroughbred gelding which I ride at pony club and
hopefully complete on (one day). When I'm not working I like to
take my dog Bella for a walk or play with my cockatiel (Chocco) and
galah (Pinky) and also love gardening when I get the
time.
