and Consulting Rooms

This area of the hospital
is the major link for good customer service for our clients. Our
reception is staffed from 7am to 8.30pm. The remaining of the
day/night is serviced by our Veterinary Nurses and Veterinarians.
We have a large range of premium pet foods in stock and pet
accessories.

Kennel
Room
|
This is the heart of the
hospital. Our patients (dogs and cats) are cared for here while
they are being treated or are waiting for routine day surgery such
as desexing , they may also have a brief stay here prior to having
X-Rays taken or ultrasound examination.
Our Veterinary nurses like to give each animal individual
attention. Nurses are in attendance all day every day to ensure
patients are monitored and given any medication they require. The
hospital area accommodates up to 40 animals, dogs are taken out for
a walk at least twice a day ( unless their illness requires
complete rest. |

Cat
Ward
|
|
|
Our cat ward is climate
controlled, keeping our patients cool in summer and warm in winter.
We have large spacious cages for each cat. The room has been
designed to allow the cats to recover in the most relaxing
environment as possible with the inclusion of privacy dividers and
sound proofing. |
Theatre
|
| Surgery on dogs, cats and
other small animals is conducted in the small animal theatre. This
room is equipped with most of the gear you would find in a human
surgery, including the lighting, operating table, anaesthetic
machine and heart and pulse monitors. Access to this area is
controlled (only surgery staff permitted) and strict hygiene must
be observed during surgery. |

Animal Theatre

X-Ray

| The radiology/imaging room
is equipped with very modern equipment, which ensures quality
images enabling a fast, concise diagnosis. In addition to our X-ray
machines we have an ultrasound machine. |

Laboratory
|
|
|
Here at Manly Road we
perform a large range of in-house laboratory testing. We offer
pre-anaesthetic blood tests to ensure your pet is medically fit
before surgery. We have an Idexx machine which enables us to
perform blood tests. We can also then run diagnostic tests for
diseases such as Parvovirus, heartworm disease, Diabetes and skin
conditions. |
Stables
|
| Horses are able to be
accommodated in stables with adjoining yards where they are cared
for and monitored 24 hours a day. |
