The Manly
Road Veterinary Hospital opened in 1987, becoming one of the first
animal hospitals of it's kind. Operating 24 hours a day, every day
of the year, we offer the latest and best treatment and technology.
We do everything that is possible for the comfort and care of our
patients.
We are proud to provide 24 hour patient care with Veterinarians
plus Veterinary Nurses - being one of the very few Veterinary
Hospitals in Australia to achieve this level of care.
The hospital team includes Veterinarians, Veterinary Nurses and
administration staff. The hospital is situated on 7 hectares,
including paddocks, stables and yards. It is one of the few
hospitals that cater for both small and large animals in
Australia.
The hospital includes a reception area, examination rooms,
emergency treatment area, a laboratory with up to date diagnostic
equipment, isolation room, radiology and ultrasound equipment, a
small animal operating theatre, a large animal operating theatre
with adjacent rubber recovery room and separate dog and cat
wards.
In 1991 we were one of the first hospitals to introduce canine
frozen artificial insemination providing expertise in canine
assisted reproduction.
We have Specialists attending the hospital, providing their
expertise to further enhance the services we provide.
We are also delighted to be involved in community projects such as
the Pet Pep Program, Puppy Preschool, Post Graduate Seminars,
School Talks, Open Days, Social Club Tours and Talks. The Brisbane
Institute of TAFE chooses to send Kennel and Cattery students to
our hospital for educational presentations.
